A visit from the Magic Fairy aka: Brooke

Brooke spent the week with us and all our Mayhem.  It was so fun to have her here and the kids loved it!  Even though Jacob kept asking her where her "friends" were, aka: her kids.  And he kept callling her Aunt Jaime and the nice mommy.

Auntie Brooke pampered this little guy, and he loved it.

(cant get this one to go the right way, sorry)
She helped me a ton with decorating my house.  I have a lot of ideas and tons of things I like so it's hard for me to make a decision.  Brooke helped me narrow it down and I actually have things hanging on my walls.  (it's only been 9 months since we moved in), I even have curtain fabric (gasp.)

We layed out the frames and accessories on the floor until we had it just right.  It took a while as you can imagine.
I love the yellow and blue keys we found at non other than Hobby Lobby.  They match the curtain fabric beutifully.
Now keep in mind that the picture of the birds is not staying that way.  I have a date with a spray paint can and possibly my silhouette.  Stay tuned for more on that.  I could not have done any of this without Brooke!  I even have a color scheme for my "Bow Room".  More to come on the progress in that room as well.

We spent hours (as you can imagine) shopping for fabric, frames, accessories and then hanging everything.  With a 2 month old and 3 year old in tow. Andy came home and I asked him "so what do you think?"

Andy: "what the *** is that?"
Me: "what are you talking about, you don't like it?"
Andy: "the pictures ard fine but what is that ugly spoon doing hanging on the wall?"
Me: "you mean the cute yellow key that matches the decor perfectly!"
Andy: "it's a key?"
Me: "yes, do you like the blue one?"
Andy: "There's another one!" "They looks like a spoons, why are they on the wall?"
Me: "for decoration"
Andy: "Why?"
Me: "for decoration"
Andy: "Why do we need decoration?" "Did you pay money for that?"
Me: "I give up."

Happy Easter

Our Easter Weekend started with an Easter Egg Hunt at the Township Community Park. The kids had a good time but Jacob especially LOVED the Easter Bunny. He kept hugging and hugging and hugging her. He really could have cared less about anything else.
Since the kids were dressed up I took advantage and snapped a photo. Easter Sunday is always so busy to take one before church and if I wait until after usually someone is half undressed before we even get into the house, so this was the perfect time. Abby 7, Jacob 3, Bryson 2 1/2 Months.
Abby sure loves and takes good care of her little brother, she's so sweet to him.

Jacob is my little goofball. He's at such a fun age and so sweet (most of the time.)

The kids ofcourse searched for their Easter Baskets full of goodies before church but after church we went out and found all the eggs that silly bunny left outside the house.

Bryson really loves being held this way, I know it's weird but he LOVES IT
Abby made special Easter artwork for each member of the family. Notice that the letter J has wheels because Jacob loves cars. She is always creating something anytime she has a free moment. Oh, and we did Dye Raw Eggs for Easter since no one in the family likes hard boiled eggs I figured why waste them. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of the experience. It takes all my hands when dealing with 3 munchkins.

2 Months Old

I can't believe my little man is already 2 months old. I took him to the Dr and he is weighing in at 12 lb 7 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. He's in the 75% for weight and height and in the 25% for his head size. His brother Jacob is in the 90% for his head size, my 2 boys are so different in so many ways.

Bryson has started smiling and cooing which simply makes my day(s) the best ever. He's also been sleeping through the night which puts a smile on my face for sure.
