Happy Easter

Our Easter Weekend started with an Easter Egg Hunt at the Township Community Park. The kids had a good time but Jacob especially LOVED the Easter Bunny. He kept hugging and hugging and hugging her. He really could have cared less about anything else.
Since the kids were dressed up I took advantage and snapped a photo. Easter Sunday is always so busy to take one before church and if I wait until after usually someone is half undressed before we even get into the house, so this was the perfect time. Abby 7, Jacob 3, Bryson 2 1/2 Months.
Abby sure loves and takes good care of her little brother, she's so sweet to him.

Jacob is my little goofball. He's at such a fun age and so sweet (most of the time.)

The kids ofcourse searched for their Easter Baskets full of goodies before church but after church we went out and found all the eggs that silly bunny left outside the house.

Bryson really loves being held this way, I know it's weird but he LOVES IT
Abby made special Easter artwork for each member of the family. Notice that the letter J has wheels because Jacob loves cars. She is always creating something anytime she has a free moment. Oh, and we did Dye Raw Eggs for Easter since no one in the family likes hard boiled eggs I figured why waste them. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of the experience. It takes all my hands when dealing with 3 munchkins.

2 Months Old

I can't believe my little man is already 2 months old. I took him to the Dr and he is weighing in at 12 lb 7 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. He's in the 75% for weight and height and in the 25% for his head size. His brother Jacob is in the 90% for his head size, my 2 boys are so different in so many ways.

Bryson has started smiling and cooing which simply makes my day(s) the best ever. He's also been sleeping through the night which puts a smile on my face for sure.

First trip in the new double jogger

I took the boys on a walk to get Abby off the bus. The stroller was great! It is the In Step Grand Safari double jogger. I mostly chose it because of the color (love the yellow) and the price. However, pushing it up our big hill was a lot of work!

One Month Old already!

Look how big I am! I can't believe my little baby is already one month old. He's huge!!! Well, he's still a newborn but OMG he is already wearing 3-6 month clothes and I had to return some diapers because he has outgrown those too.

Here he is at 1 month old with his Panda Bear. Jacob's been teaching him some Kung Fu Panda Dragon Warrior skills...Hi Ya!

He likes to make faces when I try to take his picture. This one reminds me of Grandpa or maybe a certain uncle, and I'm not going to say which one, you figure it out.

Our Valentine's Day

For Valentines Day we had a special dinner (waffles, eggs, strawberries, and sausage). And then opened our "love note, gifts" to each other and from family. For dessert I made heart shaped Reese's brownies with peanut butter swirl icecream. Yum!

Jacob with his beloved helicopter from Grammy! I got scolded for putting the helicopter in the toy basket. Apparently it has High Value statues and only goes in his room.

This was what Bryson was doing during the festivities. So sweet, soooo cute!

Bryson's first week of life

His hair isn't quite and good as cousin C's (B on left, C on right) but he's working on it. Cousin C has some great hair! Bryson sleeps a lot and thankfully has lots of warm snuggly blankets thanks to his Auntie's.

For the most part Jacob has been pretty good with Baby Bryson. But one must watch out when he puts on his Spider Man's because then he might bust out some kung fu with his Spiderman / Dragon "Oyer" (warrier)moves.
One of the rare moments Daddy had to cuddle Bryson. Abby and Jacob kind of dominate his time when he gets home from work.

Big sister Abby has taken the roll very seriously and considers herself mommy #2 and even sometimes #1. She got to feed him his first bottle the other night and exclaimed "this is the best day of my life!"

He is not a complete fan of the "binki" yet but I am, so we are working on it.

Other than being a bit Jaundice, he has had a great first week of life. We are enjoying every minute with our sweet little baby.

Announcing the Arrival of Bryson James

Bryson James

8lbs 11 oz, 22 inches long

and super cute!

I'm posting a lot of photos so beware. These were all taken while in the hospital 1-2 days old. And can you believe it, he has dark hair!

Jacob loves to kiss him and hold him which thankfully only lasts for about 5 seconds.

Kuddos to mom for being thrown into the "Lion's Den" mere hours after arriving from CA. She managed to get and keep Jacob dressed, drive to the hospital (through downtown) without getting too lost, and learned how to use that helpful google map app on her Iphone.

Abby loves him so much. She wants to hold him all the time.

Bryson loves to suck on his hands, he alwasy has them by his face.

All buckled and ready to go home.

Do they look alike? Abby, Jacob, and Bryson.

My Little Sunbeam

My Little Sunbeam!

I can't believe Jacob is old enough to be in Primary. No more playing in the Nursery for him. He looks so grown up yet still so little at the same time.

Jacob and Abby all dressed up for the first Sunday of the year.

*In the meantime I am still waiting for this baby to arrive. D-Day is today and it's not looking promising. We are all looking forward to Grammy's arrival this evening! Wish me luck and pray this baby comes soon!

Better Late than Never, Right! Our Christmas

We had a relatively relaxed and quiet Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we had a nice dinner, read from the scriptures and opened a few presents. Jacob got loaded up with Cars so he was super happy!

Abby got a cooking set and an apron since she LOVES to cook and bake!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!

I think we were up and moving around 8 - 8:30 ish. Since Christmas fell on a Sunday this year we did Santa gifts and Stockings, a yummy breakfast and then off to church.

Santa brought Abby a Rapunzel Tower and Jacob a Cars Race Track.

A doll for Abby with some matching clothes

We definitely missed our Family in CA this year!!! We had a good Christmas, it just wasn't the same without our extended family to share it with.
